My ambition.

                                        

 My ambition is to be a teacher. If is the noblest  profession  in the world.

                                         The teacher does a great service to the society. He produces well disciplined and useful citizens. People who choose teaching as their profession are fortunate because they can serve the country and also earn a living at the same time. The future of the younger generation depends on the education they receive. The teacher guides them in the correct path.

                                            Teaching is not a monotonous job. Unlike working in a miserable place like a hospital, the teacher is always with the young ones with smiling faces. So he spends his time happily.

                                            The teacher is respected by everyone. He leads an exemplary life. Because of these reasons I like to be a teacher.

My Hobby

 

                                         Everyone of us should have a hobby. Then only we can spend our leisure in a useful in a useful manner.

                                         My hobby is gardening. It is an interesting hobby. It has many  advantages. I have panted various kinds of fruits and vegetables in my garden. Some of the fruits are guava, pineapple, pomegranate, wood apple, orange and mango. Some of the vegetables are radish, tomatoes, pumpkin, cucumber,  ladies fingers, drumsticks and wing beans.

                                       I spend about three hours in my garden every evening. I pull out weeds. I water and manure the vegetable beds. I use compost manure. I don’t use artificial manure. It is a nice sight to see fruit trees laden with fruits. Birds and butterflies come to my garden. They make my garden beautiful.

                                        My father, mother and brother too help me in my hobby. We can eat fresh fruits and vegetables because of my hobby. Also I can earn some money by selling them.

My  name  is p Shashikaka Nishanthi. . I’m   17  years  old.  My   birthday  is  on the  02  of  april  1989. I  live  in  Tharaperiya.  My  school  name  is  H/ Nihiluwa  M.V.  My    favorite subjects  are  computer  and  English.I like it very much.I study at night as well as in the  evening. I do my home work every day in the afternoon. I sleep at 11 o’ clock at night. When  I’am  free, Ilike to   dancing, sing  song,  reading  books.  I  like  play  cricket  and  net boll. I like colour is sky blue.My nick  name is shashi.I am  passed the G.C.E.(O/L) exam and I do G.C.E (A/L) exam in 2008.
My   family  is  small with  six  members. My  father  name  is  p. Sirisena.  His  the bread  winner  of  the  family. He  is a famer. My  mother  name  is  Suneter. She  is  house  wife.
I  have  two  brothers  and  a  sisther.  They  all stuty  very  well. My  elder  brother name is  Mahesh Cinthaka. He  is businessman.  My  younger  brother name is  Roshan  Asanka.  He is a teacher. My  sister name is  Susukila Nilanthi. She  is a teacher of pre school. I’m youngest  in  my  family. My  family  always  help me in my education and we live very happily. I hope one day to a good computer teacher.

There   our schools  in  our  village.  Nihiluwa  public  school  is a  leading  one  in  the  area My  school is  nihiluwa maha vidyalaya. It is small school.
  Nearly  500  students  are  styding  in  it.  This  school has  a  computer  unit  sinc e 2004. It  is  a One  and  only  technological  center  for  this  village.

My favourite writer.

He is not only a writer, but a poet, religious preacher, social reformer, artist and a musician too. This great man representing all that is best in Indian thought and character and rendered a great service to India to make his people well. understood by the western word.
Ravindranath Tagore was born in India at that time modern inventions had hardly gained foothold in India. Tagore believed that the common speech should he the foundation of all good writing. ’One can get in to the sea of human culture only by following the stream of one’s mother tongue…..’ he always appreciated his mother tongue as well as his motherland. Tagore was at his best as a lyrical poet. He also wrote many plays and novels. His short stories are perhaps his finest creations. The novel ’Gora’ depicted the struggle between two generations young and old. In 1916 he was received with noble prize for his work of literature. This great writer and philosopher left the world forever in 1941 leaving an empty place that can never be filled.
